Tacoma Girl in Paris

Hey all, still alive. Been traipsing through Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, Afula, etc. hanging out with Israeli movie stars and stage actors...haha, no really. Now we're visiting a friend of R's on a kibbutz before heading back to Tel Aviv on Sunday for two nights and flying back to Paris. Updates to come: I'm alive.

One of my favorite things about Paris is how every night a group of strangers gathers on a certain bridge over the Seine to watch the sun set.

Paris is a city built for couples. It is also, however, the best place in the world to be single.

It tickles me that nearly anywhere you go in Paris you can buy for a euro an ear of corn somebody roasted over a trash can – and it will actually be delicious.
